To empower aspiring nurse educators: We created this website to empower aspiring nurse educators with the knowledge, resources, and support they need to pursue rewarding careers in nursing education. By providing comprehensive information on educational programs, career opportunities, and professional development options, we hope to inspire and equip the next generation of nurse educators to positively impact the nursing profession.
To promote excellence in nursing education: We believe high-quality nursing education is essential to delivering safe, effective, and compassionate patient care. By creating a website dedicated to nurse educator careers and education, we aim to promote excellence in nursing education by providing educators with the tools, strategies, and best practices they need to effectively teach and mentor nursing students.
To serve as a resource for the nurse educator community: We created this website with the goal of serving as a valuable resource for the nursing community, including educators, students, practitioners, and more. By providing comprehensive and up-to-date information on nursing education, we hope to support the professional growth and development of nurse educators at all stages of their careers, and to promote the overall advancement of the nursing profession.

Jillian Lohman, DNP, MSN, RN

Jillian Lohman is an experienced nurse educator with over 15 years of experience in nursing education. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of California, Los Angeles, as well as a Master of Science in Nursing Education and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of California, San Francisco. With a passion for teaching and mentoring, Jillian has developed and implemented innovative nursing education programs and curricula, integrating technology and simulation to enhance student learning and clinical competency. This passion led Jillian to NurseEducator.com, where she writes and provides information for the next generation of nurse educators.

Amy Kowalska is a nurse educator turned writer who has found a passion for sharing her expertise and experiences in the healthcare industry through her writing. She received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Pennsylvania and has since worked as a nurse educator, teaching and mentoring nursing students to become skilled and compassionate healthcare providers.
